West End Show

WEST END, (Hedge End)

Site: Tiny. Access at back of village hall. No Passes required.

Arena: Sloping, difficult to get ramps stable. Ultimately malleted ground under one of the ramps level.

Several fixed hazards: Large tree – Surround with mattresses. Fixed benches close to arena.

Show: Much like village fair; No Limitz definitely the top act.

Notes: Lots of interest in joining team. A few lads with too much beer gettinga bit close to bikes, need to cordon off own area and only enter by invitation

Bournemouth Show

BOURNEMOUTH

Site: Well sign posted, huge. On site camping

Arena: Initially too small! Persuaded them to enlarge but still a bit tight, needed to expand corner for jumps.

Show: Huge but few people there.

Notes: Beware swimming in water butts!!
Very fussy about passes.

Shoreham Show

SHOREHAM

Site: Poorly sign posted

Arena: Good size.

Very slippy

Vehicles in box in one corner of arena.

Show: Varied, mainly old vehicles, cars and motorbikes

Good crowd of spectators

Notes: No safety barrier. One bike just penetrated barrier but no one hurt. Lots of offs.
